Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

These terms explain how you may use URLZLY. By creating, sharing, or visiting a URLZLY short link, you agree to use the service responsibly and follow the rules below.

1. Service Description

URLZLY provides URL shortening, redirect, and basic click-counting tools. When you submit a valid long URL, the service creates a shorter URL that redirects visitors to the original destination. URLZLY may also show the total number of clicks associated with a short URL.

The service is provided for convenience and general informational use. We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, especially when required for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, or compliance reasons.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use URLZLY to shorten lawful web pages, documents, social profiles, campaign URLs, event pages, videos, product pages, and similar public resources. You are responsible for the URLs you submit and the way you share the resulting short links.

You may not use URLZLY to create or distribute links that lead to phishing pages, malware, deceptive downloads, unwanted software, scams, spam, illegal goods or services, harassment, hate content, non-consensual intimate content, or any page designed to mislead visitors about its source or purpose.

3. Abuse Prevention and Link Removal

URLZLY may reject, disable, redirect to a warning page, or remove any short URL that appears to violate these terms, creates security risk, receives credible abuse reports, or harms the reliability of the service. We may use automated checks, manual review, third-party reputation data, browser safety warnings, and user reports to identify harmful links.

If you believe a URLZLY link is being used abusively, contact us with the full short URL and the reason for your report. We review reports based on the information available and may act without notifying the person who created the link.

4. Link Availability

URLZLY tries to keep legitimate short links available, but we do not guarantee that any link will remain active forever. Links may be disabled if they are unused, violate these terms, point to unsafe content, or cause operational problems. Destination websites are controlled by third parties, so URLZLY is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, or content.

5. Advertising and Third-Party Services

URLZLY may display advertising on content pages to support the free service. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our privacy policy. Third-party links, ads, or destinations are not endorsements by URLZLY.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

URLZLY is provided "as is" and "as available." We make reasonable efforts to operate the service safely, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free results, or complete protection from misuse by third parties. To the fullest extent allowed by law, URLZLY is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages related to use of the service.

7. Contact

Questions about these terms or reports of misuse can be sent through the contact page or by email at support@urlzly.com.
